So you see, in the story, Jim is only about 135lbs (61kg) WITH his wings because of various things having to with his ability to fly. After Bones learns about this, he tries to resist bothering Jim about it, but there are times he can't keep from commenting.

I need to do a fanart on the story, at some point. Jim with wings is AWESOME.
And the chapters where....well, I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't read it, but...
I'll say Chapter Three actually made me feel a physical reaction to the sadness in my heart, like it was being tugged...that stuff is stuff I like, plot device-wise, amazingly.
